Security We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. From time to time to ensure that the security of the site is maintained we will make use of CAPTCHA images. Due to increased SPAM traffic we are unable to accept orders, feedback, competition entries etc from the following domains: "1-bt.co.uk", "ontel.org.uk", "00online.co.uk", "telonline.co.uk", "tisca.co.uk". Placing an order Our shopping cart service accepts orders from mainland UK customers only. We can accept payment via PayPal and are able to ship worldwide. Please contact us at info@urban-africa.co.uk to arrange this and we can notify you of postage costs to your country. Urban Africa provides safe and secure credit and debit card processing through Protx. One of the easiest ways to place an order is to use the "add to order" facility found on all the item pages. Your basket will allow you to edit the quantities you wish to purchase as well as delete any items that you wish to remove from your basket. Once you have completed shopping simply "Finalise this order" and you will be asked for information necessary in fulfilling your order. Forms of Payments Orders will be processed online or via telephone using a credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta and Switch/Solo). Urban Africa accepts the following methods of payment: Hours The sales office is open between 9.00 am - 5.00 pm every weekday. We aim to despatch your order the next working day, however please allow up to 7 working days for your order to reach you. Certain goods are dispatched using a signed for courier service. After two failed delivery attempts by the courier company, goods will be returned to us and additional delivery charges will become payable by you. To avoid failed delivery attempts please discuss your delivery arrangements with us at time of ordering. Postage Rates The following rates are based on orders placed within the UK, mainland Scotland and Ireland. VAT Vat is included in the price of all of our products which are vatable. (Books and kids clothes are exempt). VAT is included in the postage and packaging rate. Tracking your order Once your order has been received you will receive an email with an order number. Please allow 3-4 days for delivery and should you have any queries with regards to your order please include the order number as well as the delivery address in the body of your email to info@urban-africa.co.uk Returns and Exchanges Your satisfaction is of importance to Urban Africa. A happy customer is one that will tell two friends, a dissatisfied customer is one that will tell twenty two friends! In the event that you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will replace it or offer you a full refund or exchange. It is your responsibility to ensure that the goods are returned to us safely and in the original state within 7 working days. To return an item, simply send us an email at info@urban-africa.co.uk to request an RPA (Return Purchase Authorisation) number which must be included in the package you are sending back. We will refund the cost of the product & delivery to you. You will need to pay for the postage to return the item to Urban Africa. Additional Information Please appreciate that items are handcrafted and not mass-produced; therefore, they may reflect natural imperfections (which is an inherent characteristic of handcrafted items) and makes them all the more unique. Urban Africa endeavours to deliver products that are identical to the ones shown. Sizes All sizes quoted on this web site are subject to a plus or minus 3% tolerance. Colours Colours displayed on our web site are indicative only. Returns We will provide a full credit or replacement for unused and unmarked goods that are not to specification. You also have the right to cancel your order at any time before delivery and within 7 days after the day of receiving your goods. In the event of you cancelling your order within the time frame mentioned above, you will be responsible for the cost of returning your goods to us in a saleable condition (unopened and unused). After seven working days the sale is considered closed and we will not make a refund. ‘Made to measure' returns are accepted on the basis of manufacturing defects only. Returns are by prior agreement with our sales office. When returning goods we recommend the use of a ‘signed for' carriage service. Items lost in transit back to us is your responsibility. Refunds are only provided when goods are received by us in their original condition and packaging. To request a refund please notify us immediately by e-mailing: info@urban-africa.co.uk Shortages / damages Complaints regarding shortages in consignments and damage to goods must be notified in writing (post, fax, e-mail) within 3 days from receipt of goods, otherwise we cannot accept responsibility. Beneficial title of re-saleable goods remains with the seller until fully paid for.
